  5. Incorporate sour cream and zucchini into the mixture.
  6. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Gently fold in chocolate chips, reserving some for the top if desired.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
  9. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  10. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
