Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour evenly on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, and 1 tablespoon of light brown sugar using an electric mixer for 1-2 minutes until light and fluffy. Add a splash of vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually add the cooled, heat-treated flour and a pinch of salt to the butter-sugar mixture. Beat on low speed until fully incorporated.
  4. Slowly mix in 1 tablespoon of milk until the dough reaches a creamy consistency.
  5. Gently fold in 2 tablespoons of mini chocolate chips with a spatula.
  6. Chill the cookie dough for about 10-15 minutes for better flavor melding.
