Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich
  • 4 rolls Submarine Rolls 6-10 inch Italian rolls are best
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter or reduce salt if using salted
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped, or substitute cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt to taste
For the Filling
  • 2 cups Pre-Cooked Pulled turkey or shredded chicken
  • 8 slices Sliced Ham great for leftovers
  • 1 cup Dill Pickles sliced or use jalapeños
  • 8 slices Swiss Cheese or try provolone
  • 2 tablespoons Yellow Mustard Dijon or honey mustard is optional

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to low broil (about 500°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the submarine rolls in half lengthwise and arrange them cut side up on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, combine melted unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, and kosher salt.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture onto the cut sides of each roll.
  5. Toast the rolls in the oven for about 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Finely dice the pulled pork, ham, pickles, and Swiss cheese on a cutting board.
  7. In a large bowl, mix the diced ingredients with yellow mustard until fully coated.
  8. Fill each toasted roll with approximately 1 cup of the filling.
  9. Serve immediately while warm.
