Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by trimming any excess fat from the chuck roast and season all sides generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine honey, bourbon, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder. Whisk until well-blended.
  3. Place the seasoned chuck roast into your slow cooker and pour the honey bourbon sauce over it.
  4. Cook on low for 8 hours.
  5. Carefully remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return it to the sauce.
  6. Prepare your sandwich buns by toasting them and fill each with the pulled beef and any desired toppings.
