  1. Slice the steak thinly against the grain and place in the crock pot.
  2. Add the sliced green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and yellow onion on top of the steak.
  3. Sprinkle minced garlic and ground ginger over the steak and vegetables, mixing gently.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and beef broth, then add brown sugar to balance flavors.
  5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or HIGH for 3-4 hours.
  6. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce.
