Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Tofu Bites
  1. Press the tofu by wrapping it in a clean towel and placing a heavy object on top for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Cut the pressed tofu into 1-inch uniform cubes.
  3. Mix cornstarch and garlic powder in a bowl; dredge each tofu cube in the mixture.
  4. Heat the oil in a skillet to 350°F (180°C) using a thermometer.
  5. Fry coated tofu cubes in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Drain fried tofu on a paper towel-lined plate to remove excess oil.
  7. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and drizzle with lemon juice while hot.
