Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer or oven to 425°F (220°C). Allow at least 5-10 minutes for the appliance to reach temperature.
- Peel and cube your sweet potatoes, placing them in a pot of boiling water. Cook for about 20 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Once the potatoes are cool enough to handle, gently smash each piece using a fork or your hands until they are about half an inch thick.
- Drizzle your smashed sweet potatoes with olive oil, honey or maple syrup, garlic powder, and salt. Toss or brush until evenly coated.
- Place the seasoned sweet potatoes in the preheated air fryer basket or on a baking sheet. Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
- Mix yogurt with garlic powder and desired toppings in a bowl until well combined.
- Serve the crispy sweet potatoes warm alongside the garlic yogurt dip.

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze uncooked sweet potatoes. Reheat in air fryer for optimal crispiness.
