  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, deveined and peeled
For the Coating
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs can substitute with crushed pork rinds for low-carb
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated can swap with other hard cheeses like Pecorino Romano
For the Sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced fresh gives the best flavor
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted can use olive oil for a lighter option
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh is ideal, bottled is acceptable
Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and prepare your baking dish by greasing it.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, and lemon juice until combined.
  3. Toss the shrimp in the garlic butter mixture until fully coated.
  4. In another bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Transfer the coated shrimp to the baking dish and sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over them.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  7. Switch to broil mode and broil for an additional 2 minutes until golden.
  8. Remove from the oven, let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
