- Slice ciabatta bread lengthwise and brush insides with olive oil. Toast in a skillet or toaster oven for about 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Spread garlic aioli on one half of the toasted bread, then drizzle balsamic glaze or pesto on the other half.
- Layer sliced grilled chicken or turkey on the aioli side, then add fresh mozzarella or brie. Broil for 1-2 minutes if desired.
- Add roasted red bell peppers and arugula or spinach on top. Sprinkle caramelized onions if using.
