  • 1 tablespoon Italian Herbs Fresh herbs can enhance flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice Lime juice can be a substitute.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Coat a 6-quart crockpot with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. In a skillet, add olive oil and let it heat. Sauté carrots and onions for 4-5 minutes. Stir in garlic for another 20 seconds.

  3. Transfer sautéed vegetables to the crockpot, add lentils and broth, then kielbasa. Mix well.

  4. Cover and cook on low for approximately 5.5 hours or simmer on stovetop for 35-40 minutes until lentils are tender.
