- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until well mixed.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the batter in the pan.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
