Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of cinnamon-sugar mixture over the bottom of the pan.
  2. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough and press into the bottom of the prepared pan, sealing any seams.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes. Spread cheesecake mixture over the crescent dough.
  4. Unroll the second package of crescent roll dough over the cheesecake layer and seal the seams.
  5. Brush the top layer of dough with melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 26-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool on a wire rack and refrigerate for at least 3 hours before slicing.
