Step-by-Step Instructions for Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas
- Gather your ingredients: 4 large flour tortillas, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni, and optional veggies like green bell pepper or black olives.
- Spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce over half of each tortilla. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Layer half of the pepperoni slices, diced green bell pepper, and sliced black olives on top of the mozzarella.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings, adding dried oregano and garlic powder before folding each tortilla in half.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Cook the folded quesadilla in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
- Flip the quesadilla carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden-brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let the quesadilla rest for 1 minute, then slice into wedges and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
