Step-by-Step Instructions for Pepperoni Pizza Quesadillas
  1. Gather your ingredients: 4 large flour tortillas, 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup pizza sauce, 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni, and optional veggies like green bell pepper or black olives.
  2. Spread 1/4 cup of pizza sauce over half of each tortilla. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  3. Layer half of the pepperoni slices, diced green bell pepper, and sliced black olives on top of the mozzarella.
  4. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the toppings, adding dried oregano and garlic powder before folding each tortilla in half.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  6. Cook the folded quesadilla in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden and crispy.
  7. Flip the quesadilla carefully and cook for another 3-4 minutes until both sides are golden-brown and the cheese is melted.
  8. Let the quesadilla rest for 1 minute, then slice into wedges and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.
