Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, ketchup, chopped onion, and eggs. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture into the greased baking dish, shaping it into a loaf form or spreading it evenly.
  4. Bake for approximately 45 minutes, checking that the internal temperature reaches 155°F to 160°F.
  5. After 45 minutes, sprinkle additional cheese on top and return to the oven for another 10 to 15 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
  6. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
