  • 1 cup Lump Crab Meat optional

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

  • 1 package Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese for topping

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to create a roux. Cook for an additional minute until golden.
  4. Gradually pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of seafood stock, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until thick.
  5. Fold in 1 pound of peeled shrimp and 1 cup of lump crab meat. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until shrimp are pink.
  6. Pour the seafood filling into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  7. Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  8. Dollop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the seafood filling.
  9. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden-brown.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving warm.
