Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to create a roux. Cook for an additional minute until golden.
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of seafood stock, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until thick.
- Fold in 1 pound of peeled shrimp and 1 cup of lump crab meat. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until shrimp are pink.
- Pour the seafood filling into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Prepare the Cheddar Bay biscuit mix according to package instructions and stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
- Dollop spoonfuls of biscuit dough on top of the seafood filling.
- Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until the biscuit topping is golden-brown.
