Ingredients
  

For the Sliders
  • 12 pieces Hawaiian slider buns
  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey for a healthier option
  • 6 slices American cheese or cheddar/pepper jack
  • 6 slices dill pickles or your favorite pickles
  • 1 small white onion finely chopped, or use green onions
For the Big Mac Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt for a lighter option
  • 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish or diced apples
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard or dijon mustard for spice
  • 1 dash paprika
  • 1 dash onion powder
  • 1 dash garlic powder
For Topping
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce use iceberg or romaine
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter for brushing on buns
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds optional for appearance

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, combine half a cup of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of sweet pickle relish, one teaspoon of yellow mustard, and a dash of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt to create the sauce.
  3. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook one pound of ground beef with one finely chopped white onion, a teaspoon of salt, and black pepper for 5-7 minutes.
  4. Lay the bottom halves of the slider buns in the baking dish and spread the homemade sauce over them.
  5. Spoon the cooked beef mixture over the sauced buns, add slices of American cheese, and top with dill pickle slices.
  6. Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven, sprinkle shredded lettuce over the melted cheese, and drizzle extra sauce before capping with the top halves of the buns.
  8. Brush melted butter over the top of the buns, sprinkle with sesame seeds, cover with foil, and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
  9. Slice the sliders to serve and enjoy hot.

Notes
