Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by spraying it with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a small bowl, combine half a cup of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of sweet pickle relish, one teaspoon of yellow mustard, and a dash of paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt to create the sauce.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook one pound of ground beef with one finely chopped white onion, a teaspoon of salt, and black pepper for 5-7 minutes.
- Lay the bottom halves of the slider buns in the baking dish and spread the homemade sauce over them.
- Spoon the cooked beef mixture over the sauced buns, add slices of American cheese, and top with dill pickle slices.
- Bake the sliders in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle shredded lettuce over the melted cheese, and drizzle extra sauce before capping with the top halves of the buns.
- Brush melted butter over the top of the buns, sprinkle with sesame seeds, cover with foil, and return to the oven for 10 minutes.
- Slice the sliders to serve and enjoy hot.

Notes
For best results, layer the sauce on the bottom buns only and add lettuce after baking to avoid sogginess.
