Chocolate Brownie Layer Cake

Ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 4 large eggs
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 cup milk
• 1 cup dark chocolate chips

Peanut Butter Frosting:

• 1 cup creamy peanut butter
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1/4 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
. Fold in the dark chocolate chips.
. Divide the batter evenly among the prepared pans. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
. While the cakes cool, prepare the peanut butter frosting. In a large bowl, beat together peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy , you can add some of chocolate chips.
. Once the cakes are completely cooled, spread a layer of peanut butter frosting between each layer and on top of the cake.
. Decorate as desired and enjoy the decadent goodness!
