Ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup buttermilk
• 1/2 cup vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup boiling water
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 4 cups powdered sugar
• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 8 ounces dark chocolate, melted

Directions: 📝

1️⃣ Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
2️⃣ In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
3️⃣ Add buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth.
4️⃣ Stir in the boiling water, gradually, until the batter is well combined.
5️⃣ Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6️⃣ Allow the cakes to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
For the frosting:
7️⃣ In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy. Gradually add powdered sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla extract. Beat until light and fluffy.
8️⃣ Place one cake layer on a serving plate and spread a generous amount of frosting on top.
9️⃣ Place the second cake layer on top and frost the sides and top of the cake with the remaining frosting.
🔟 Drizzle the melted dark chocolate over the cake for an extra touch of indulgence.

Serve and enjoy the rich, chocolatey goodness! 🍴✨
