Ingredients:
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 cup cocoa powder
• 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
• 2 cups granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 ½ cups buttermilk
• 1 cup chocolate chips
• 8 oz cream cheese, softened
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
. In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Mix until just combined.
. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
. In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the batter in the pan. Swirl the cream cheese into the batter with a knife.
. Add the remaining batter on top and smooth the surface.
. Sprinkle chocolate chip over the batter.
. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
. Allow the cake to cool before slicing.
