Ingredients:
• 1 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup water
• 6 large eggs
• 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
• 1 can (12 ounces) evaporated milk
• 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
• 1 tablespoon orange zest
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a Bundt cake pan.
. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves, and let it simmer until the mixture turns amber. Pour the caramelized sugar into the prepared cake pan, coating the bottom evenly.
. In a blender, combine eggs, sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, orange juice, and orange zest. Blend until smooth.
. In a large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, whisking until well combined.
. Pour the batter into the caramel-coated pan. Place the pan in a larger baking dish, and fill the outer dish with hot water to create a water bath.
. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the cake.
. Allow the cake to cool before inverting it onto a serving platter.
