Ingredients:

• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 2 large eggs
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cups diced apples (peeled and cored)
• 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:

. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
. In another bowl, beat eggs, melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.
. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
. Gently fold in the diced apples and walnuts (if using).
. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
. Allow the apple bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
