Flourless Chocolate Cake topped

Ingredients:

• 1 cup unsalted butter
• 1 cup semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup cocoa powder
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 6 large eggs

For the Chocolate Glaze:

• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Directions:

. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
. In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter and chocolate chips, stirring until smooth.
. Remove from heat and whisk in sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the center is set.
. While the cake is baking, prepare the chocolate glaze by heating cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips and butter until smooth.
. Once the cake is done, let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
. Pour the chocolate glaze over the cooled cake, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
