Ingredients:
• 4 cups of sliced apples
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
• 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/4 cup water
• 1 cup old-fashioned oats
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1/2 cup brown sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
. In a large bowl, combine sliced apples, granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water. Toss everything together and transfer to a greased baking dish.
. In another bowl, mix oats, 1/2 cup flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and baking soda. Stir in the melted butter until the mixture is crumbly.
. Sprinkle the oat topping over the apples in the baking dish.
. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
