- 1/2 cup ???? salsa
- 8-10 ???? large flour tortillas
- 1/4 cup ???? melted butter
Instructions:
Scalloped Potatoes:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large saucepan, sauté the onion and garlic in the butter over medium heat until the onion is translucent.
- Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Slowly whisk in the milk and continue to whisk until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
- Add the salt and pepper and stir to combine.
- Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour half of the milk mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the milk mixture.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, milk mixture, and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
