Indulge in a heavenly delight with our Chocolate Mud Tart
Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs
• ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
• 200g dark chocolate
• 150g unsalted butter
• 150g brown sugar
• 3 eggs
• 100g all-purpose flour
• 50g cocoa powder
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• Pinch of salt
For the creamy milk chocolate topping:
• 150g milk chocolate
• 100ml heavy cream
• Chocolate sauce
• Shredded chocolate
Directions:
. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
. In a bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a tart pan. Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
. Melt the dark chocolate and butter in a heatproof bowl over a pot of simmering water, stirring until smooth.
. Remove from heat and whisk in the brown sugar until combined.
. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and salt, and gently fold until just combined.
. Pour the batter into the prepared tart pan and smooth the top.
. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is still slightly jiggly.
. Spread some of chocolate sauce on top of the tart .
. Once set, spread whipped cream with milk chocolate over the chocolate layer.
. Drizzle chocolate sauce generously over the whipped cream.
. Sprinkle shredded chocolate on top for an extra chocolaty touch.
. Slice and serve chilled. Enjoy every decadent bite
